Quality

Supplier quality management

Mission

We are dedicated to fostering long-term partnerships with our material suppliers and subcontractors. Our mission is to drive quality at its source, ensuring "built-in quality" across all our processes. We proactively pursue structural quality and process improvements through partner programs, employing early capability assessment, continuous performance monitoring, and closing the loop on feedback.

Vision

We envision a future where Ampleon's external partners are actively engaged in our total quality management system. Together, we implement quality principles centered on systematic prevention, proactive error-proofing, and fostering a rapid response culture.

Way of working

The success of Ampleon hinges on the collaboration with our material suppliers and subcontractors. They play a pivotal role in achieving our goals of zero quality incidents, seamless supply chains, and consistent performance. Our supplier quality team works closely with our partners, encouraging and supporting them in making systematic and ongoing improvements to their products and processes.

Approach

Our material suppliers and subcontractors are essential to the quality and predictable delivery of our products. We prioritize partnering with and developing key suppliers and subcontractors as vital contributors to quality and reliability. Through proactive supplier development and quality improvement programs, we transition from reactive to preventive measures, aiming to consistently deliver quality to our customers.

Consistent monitoring We ensure material conformance to specifications or control limits through consistent monitoring.
Manufacturing audits Regular audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems are conducted, both prior to volume ramp-up and during the sustaining phase.
Quality reviews We engage in regular quality reviews with supplier and subcontractor management teams, initiating development and improvement programs when necessary.
