You are going to be a part of

a highly motivated and multi-disciplinary international project team with device physicists, technology and process engineers and project managers. You will be working at the forefront of leading edge GaN technology for mobile communication and other RF applications in co-operation with the world’s leading foundries.

A look into the life of a Director Foundry Management

This role emphasizes collaboration with internal design teams and our GaN foundry partners to define and refine foundry processes and drive the development of next-generation RF GaN on SiC technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation with depth and breadth across front-end process modules and a track record of success in semiconductor technology development.

Key responsibilities
  • Solve or contribute to the solution of issues seen during product development, design-in, or for customer complaints
  • Partner with GaN front-end foundry teams to fine-tune and optimize processes, ensuring alignment with product performance, yield and reliability goals
  • Collaborate closely with internal device physics and design teams to define and refine process requirements for GaN on SiC technologies
  • Manage and evaluate foundry deliverables, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and timeline requirements
  • Drive continuous improvements at the foundry in areas of process quality, cost reduction, and cycle time optimization
  • Facilitate seamless integration of new processes into production and support technology qualification efforts
  • Stay updated on advancements in GaN technology, contributing to strategic roadmaps for future process enhancements
Your profile
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor process development, process integration and technology development. Experience with RF GaN technologies is a prerequisite
  • Affinity with device physics
  • Experienced in working with foundries
  • Deep understanding of front-end process modules and their impact on device performance and reliability
  • Proven ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and with external foundry partners
  • Strong skills in process characterization, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing foundry deliverables and driving technology development programs
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with analog/RF semiconductor products and applications is a strong advantage
